by Frank Barnett

The rapport in your workplace has significant effects upon your daily functioning. Your relationship with your colleagues can make or break your day's efforts and is also one important factor that affects whether you are professionally successful in the long term. Difficult times at work often translate to moodiness and irritability at home as well and can have deleterious effects on your personal life too.

With this being the case, there are a variety of distractions that can interfere with a good working mentality for both yourself and coworkers. For example, noisy coworkers, can actually limit the effectiveness of the office working environment for you and other coworkers. It can be extremely difficult to concentrate on your work when you have noisy, obnoxious people around you, but there are ways to make the situation better.

For instance, if you are in a noisy office, one thing you can do is try to relocate your desk to a quieter location. This is occasionally possible, but not always.
